We’re Always Excited to Welcome New Visitors
At New Covenant Baptist Church, we're always excited to welcome new visitors. We hope you'll join us for a service, and we want to make your visit as comfortable as possible. Here's what you can expect when you come to our 9:00 a.m. service.
Our church is located at 11107 SE Loop 410, San Antonio, TX 78214
If you have mobility restrictions or young children to carry, feel free to use the motor court at the double doors for drop off. One of our friendly greeters will be there to assist you.
When you walk in,
find one of our greeters and introduce yourself. They're usually stationed at the doors and Welcome Desk, and they'll show you where everything is. They'll help you find the nursery and Sunday school rooms if you have kids. Our greeters can also point you to the restrooms, sanctuary and fellowship area. If you have any questions about the service itself, the greeters are able to provide helpful answers.
What To Expect
When you come to join us for the first time,
one of our greeters will be glad to help you become comfortable. If you'd like, they'll help you find the nursery (which is fully staffed and safely run), restrooms, sanctuary and, of course, coffee after the service.
During the service,
you'll hear our faith expressed in the songs we sing, prayers we offer up and our pastor's preaching. All parts of our service are grounded in the Bible, which we are committed to upholding. At Your Church, we agree with the Apostle's Creed and Nicene Creed, which we may read during the service. The Apostle's and Nicene Creeds are two of the most ancient Christian creeds, and you'll find they are upheld by almost all churches today.
After the service,
join us for Sunday school starting at 10:15AM. Say hello to our pastor and anyone else you see. We'd all love to hear your story and share ours with you.
No matter what your Christian background is (or isn't), we hope you'll join us on Sunday. Here at New Covenant Baptist Church, you'll find people of all sizes, stripes and colors, and we welcome everyone--including you.
"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works."
(Hebrews 10:24)
At New Covenant Baptist Church, we have a simple hope: to see people come to know Jesus Christ and grow in their Christian faith. Our ministries come in all shapes and sizes. Please come and join us for worship.
Christian Ministry
The Christian Education Ministry seeks to assess the Christian educational needs of the congregation and designs strategies in ministries to meet those needs.
Family Life Ministry:
Spreading God’s Word through the family, making every home a godly home. Family is at the core of the Great Commission. It’s where, for so many people, spiritual transformation begins. This journey continues through each generation, as parents teach their children to live biblically and then send them out into the world on a mission for Christ. Our primary vision is to help marriages and families be reconciled to God, and then equip them to reach out to their neighbors and communities to share His gospel of grace and truth in ever-widening circles.
Hospitality Ministry:
The Hospitality Ministry has many layers that make up the body of the congregation. Their responsibilities span the lifecycle of the members’ interactions with the church. The way to gain ownership in a ministry is to take an active role by contributing your gifts and talents. The hospitality ministry has several moving parts, and each entity is intertwined with other ministries to create a unique experience. Hospitality Ministry Includes:
- Greeters
- Nurses
- Parking Lot
- Ushers
Men's Ministry
The Men’s Ministry is focused on allowing God to utilize men in leading others to Christ and training them to serve God. They are involved in the mission of praying for others, education, community service, and /giving of their time to uplift Christ.
Military Forces Ministry:
Military Forces Ministry exists to encourage and support our military members and their families, co-workers, and neighbors in the name of Jesus Christ.
Outreach
The purpose is to provide spiritual, educational, and social events and activities throughout the community that will promote Godly relationships. To equip individuals to serve one another.
Silver Saints:
Silver Saints Ministry affords members ages 60 and older in our church community and surrounding areas the opportunity for fellowship and ministry engagement.
Women's Ministry
Women’s Ministry invites all women to connect with others, grow in their faith in God, and serve out of their love for Jesus Christ. Come walk alongside us as we engage in Bible studies, retreats, small groups, mission work, and social events.
Worship & Arts:
The purpose of the Worship Arts Ministry is to blend music, dance, and voices in a manner that honors God, connects with Scripture, and adds to each worship experience.
Youth Ministry:
The Youth Ministry exists to make followers of Jesus Christ. We invite students to engage in various programs and activities, /giving young people a chance to participate in Church life, develop their faith and spirituality, and discover new friendships.
